The election has inspired unprecedented levels of giving from concerned Americans seeking to protect the parts of this country they value most. For every person who has donated, there’s another who wants to give but doesn’t know where to start. That’s where newly launched Mo’ Money Mo’ Progress steps in.

Partners Cari and Laura decided to leverage their combined skills in philanthropy and graphic design skills to create Mo’ Money Mo’ Progress. Does Mom have a passion for feminist causes? Then the site directs you to donate in her name to orgs like National Network of Abortion Funds. Does Uncle Jerry concern himself with LGBTQ+ issues? Then the site suggests causes like Southerners on New Ground. And if you still want something to put under the tree, they’re offering shiny gold Certificates of Donation.

This week, they’re also launching a #momoneymoprogress social media campaign that aims to make giving go viral. They’re inviting friends to tag a friend and offer to donate $20 in their honor, to an organization of the friend’s choosing. The friends, in turn, are urged to do the same.

Part holiday gift guide, part fundraising engine, Mo’ Money Mo’ Progress makes it easy for people to donate to causes in lieu of giving gifts this holiday season. <3
