We Stand with Planned Parenthood!
We are selling the last 100 Breast Friends pins with 50% sales going to Planned Parenthood as they continue the long fight for freedom of family planning and the attack on bodily autonomy.
The US government continues to chip away at accessible reproductive health care—this time by suggesting at implementing a domestic “gag rule” that would strip federal funding from any health care provider that offers or refers patients to abortion access. Abortion is LEGAL in the United States for (literal) fuck sake!!
The rule would change Title X (the federal program which underwrites the costs of contraception, reproductive health services, and STD screening for low-income and uninsured patients) and would
- Require facilities receiving federal family planning funds to be physically separate from those that perform abortion (FYI: federal funds already don’t fund abortions be safe of the Hyde Amendnent)
- Would eliminate the requirement that women with unintended pregnancies be counseled on their full range of reproductive options and
- Would BAN abortion referrals. We all deserve ALL information when it comes to options about our reproductive health and would disproportionately punish those that access their health care from such clinics (abortion or otherwise).
